The 49ers once again dominated the Seattle Seahawks this past weekend, winning 31-13 in a rout of their division rival. It wasn't that shocking, considering how much QB Geno Smith has struggled in his tenure there against San Francisco. It was never really a game that was in much doubt as to who would win, as the 49ers got out to a commanding 24-3 lead at halftime, and they would have won easily even if they hadn't scored a single point in the second half. The offense ran through RB Christian McCaffery, who had 114 yards on the ground and two TDs. The defense owns Smith and the Seattle, and allowed just 220 yards of total offense.

San Francisco owns one of the very best offenses in the NFL, and they rank second in the league in yards per play. They've dominated opposing defenses all season, and there isn't much that they aren't good at. They have explosive weapons all over the field that QB Brock Purdy has taken advantage of, such as McCaffrey and WR Brandon Aiyuk. I haven't even mentioned Deebo Samuel, one of the most dynamic players in football. They are so deep and so talented on this side of the ball and have become such an explosive offense because of it.

As if it wasn't enough that they have a top-five offense in the league, they also have the fifth-ranked defense in yards per play against. It's been hard for anyone to get things going against this unit, and they have been great at preventing big plays. Perhaps most impressive is their ability to stop the run, as they rank second in the NFL against the ground attack, allowing just 82 rushing yards per game.

Philadelphia Eagles Week 13 Outlook

The Eagles were outgained for the fourth consecutive week against the Buffalo Bills, and despite being outplayed again, won 37-34 in overtime. They continue to win games while being the worst team in the match, and that screams regression going forward. An immense amount of turnover luck and timely red zone mistakes by their opponents have allowed them to get to this 10-1 record through their first 11 games. Against Buffalo, they were outgained 505-378 and also had fewer first downs than the Bills while losing the overall turnover battle. The week before against Kansas City, they were outgained 336-238. Against Dallas in Week 11, they were outgained 406-292. Against Washington in Week 10, they were outgained 472-374.

Philadelphia's offense is ranked 10th in yards per play, so they at least have a top 10 offense going for them. They are actually the No. 1 ranked team in first downs gained per game, averaging 22.7 each time out, but you wouldn't know it over the last few weeks. Still, this is not an offense to take lightly. They have a ton of talent and have been very efficient when their opponents have given them the ball. They can move it down the field on you.

The defense has been an issue for this team, but they continue to get extremely lucky forcing turnovers. Philly's defense ranks 16th in yards per play against, which is around the middle of the league. However, they also rank 30th in third down conversion percentage allowed, letting teams convert on 45.5% of third down attempts. They rank 29th in red zone efficiency and also 29th in passing yards allowed per game.
