NBA: Raptors C Pascal Siakam Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Hornets (-110)

There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and opposing centers crushing against the Hornets.

Averaging 25.7 points and 8.3 rebounds (34 points + rebounds) per game this season, Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam is in a smash spot against Charlotte tonight. The Hornets have allowed 25.36 points (3rd-most) and 17.13 rebounds (most) to opposing centers this season and Siakam has a clear athleticism advantage over Mason Plumlee, who will try to check him. Siakam is more of a four, but Nick Nurse has been starting him at the five, which should boost his rebounding potential in this plus-matchup.

I wouldn’t be shocked if he got over 34.5 points alone tonight.

NCAAB: Michigan State F Joey Hauser Over 7.5 Rebounds vs. Wisconsin (-130)

MSU forward Joey Hauser has been an active rebounder for his team all season long, averaging 7.8 boards per game.

With three consecutive double-digit rebounding performances heading into this matchup, Hauser is also averaging a whopping 10.8 boards in Big Ten play and has posted double-digit rebounds in three of four conference contests as well (and has gone over this 7.5 number in all four).

I expect him to be very active on the glass again tonight.

NHL: Sharks RW Timo Meier Over 4.5 Shots On Goal vs. Coyotes (+100)

While both of these teams absolutely stink, this game has a 6.5-goal total which is tied for the highest on today’s slate.

Timo Meier leads the Sharks with 191 shots which is notable because Erik Karlsson ranks second with 112 and no one else has ripped off more than 100 on San Jose’s roster. Meier has gone over this number in three of his last five contests, including a 10-shot masterpiece that resulted in two goals at the Ducks last Friday.

At plus-money against the Coyotes, who have given up the third-most shots per game (34.38), I’m all over this prop today.
