The Crimson Tide took this one 26-23 behind QB Tua Tagovailoa. 2019 would feature yet another Alabama vs. Clemson matchup, this time with Clemson destroying the vaunted Tide 44-16. QB Trevor Lawrence took home MVP honors in that game. In 2020 we saw Clemson yet again, but this time they would face-off with QB Joe Burrow's LSU Tigers, getting blown out 42-25 in that game. 2021 brought Alabama back yet again, this time against Ohio State, where the Tide would crush them 52-24 behind WR DeVonta Smith. 2022 saw Georgia capture their first CFP Championship, beating Alabama 33-18 behind QB Stetson Bennett.
