Dan Karpuc: Colorado ML at Oregon (+850, BetRivers)

Deion Sanders’ team is a massive underdog here, but the team is 3-0 under his watch when opposing coaches make things personal. It didn’t take much digging to see that Oregon head coach Dan Lanning already took a shot at Colorado’s program in the preseason. When asked about Colorado football leaving the Pac-12, he told reporters that he didn’t have any reaction because “I'm trying to remember what they won to affect this conference and I don't remember. Do you remember them winning anything? I don't remember them winning anything.”

In all seriousness, Coach Prime has a unique ability to galvanize his team and create inspiration. Sure, they’re going into Oregon as huge underdogs, but they also went into the season opener against national runner-up TCU in the same situation and came out with the win. QB Shedeur Sanders is the real deal and clearly has the clutch gene -- if the Buffs can make some defensive adjustments, they have a real chance to shock the nation (again).

Kate Constable: Notre Dame ML (+154, DraftKings) 

This top-10 matchup is going to be the first big test for both of these undefeated teams. Neither team has been tested all that much, but I’d argue Notre Dame has been more impressive up to this point. Sam Hartman has taken this offense to a level we haven’t seen from the Irish in quite some time. He has a 71.0% competition percentage and averages nearly 12 yards per attempt. Not to mention he’s tossed 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. While Hartman has the passing game covered, Audric Estime has proven to be one of the best running backs in college football. He has 521 yards on the ground and is averaging 130 ypg.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that Ohio State doesn’t have the same caliber defense as in previous years, which makes me think slowing these two down is going to be more of a challenge than some might anticipate. And while QB Kyle McCord and WR Marvin Harrison Jr. finally looked connected on Saturday against Western Kentucky, the Buckeyes rank just sixth in the Big Ten in total offense. With ND having the home crowd on its side, I like the Irish to earn the upset on Saturday.

Brad Pinkerton: Sam Houston State ML (+480, FanDuel)

I've hit three straight underdog picks (Florida, most recently) to open the season, so I'm playing with house money here and taking a long shot on the Bearkats to pull a shocker on the road. To be honest, I don't know a damn thing about Sam Houston State (I even had to look up the mascot), but all I need to know is that FanDuel is hanging this line a little too high compared to the rest of the market, which is around +430 on average and as low as +400 at some books. Still a longshot to be sure, but getting +480 here for a Sam Houston team that can at least play defense against a Houston team that has struggled against every opponent so far is worth a sprinkle.
