Kate Constable: Rutgers -5 vs. Maryland
Both Maryland and Rutgers come into this game with the same overall record at 10-4, but the Scarlet Knights have been playing a significantly better brand of basketball lately. They are coming off a massive win, knocking off No. 1 Purdue on the road, so there is the concern that this could be a letdown spot. If this game were at Maryland, I would probably fade Rutgers, but it’s at the RAC where it’s tough for opposing teams to get a win. The Scarlet Knights' defense is also far superior and should be able to contain a Terps offense that has been struggling lately.

Dan Karpuc: FAU -2 vs. UAB
Florida Atlantic (12-1 SU, 10-1 ATS) is 8-0 ATS as a favorite this season, and their only outright loss and failed cover came against Ole Miss in November, when they lost by 13 as seven-point underdogs. Under Dusty May, FAU has gone 12-2 ATS after covering the spread in four straight games, so that’s a trend working in their favor as well. While UAB (12-2 SU, 5-8 ATS) is off to a solid start from a straight-up win-loss perspective, they’ve failed to cover the spread in their last three contests and in six of their last seven. Per KenPom’s rankings, Florida Atlantic is at No. 39 while UAB is at No. 51, so that makes me more comfortable.

Lucy Burdge: Stony Brook -2 at Monmouth
So Monmouth is kind of a disaster with their 1-13 record (4-10 ATS) and having lost their last five games by much more than two points. Meanwhile, Stony Brook has won two of their last three and covered the spread in five straight games. With Monmouth’s struggles this year and this only being two points, I am absolutely taking Stony Brook to cover this spread.

Matt Horner: Ohio State ML -120 vs. Purdue

How often do you see the No. 1-ranked team in the country as an underdog? Hardly ever, but that’s what we have happening here. Not only that, but the Ohio State price is shortening, with some books bringing the ML up to -130 already. Also, it's suspicious that 59% of the bets are on Purdue, but the line is moving towards Ohio State.
