Virginia had a scare on Wednesday when it was nearly upset by Louisville. The Cavaliers were 17-point favorites, but only won by three against a Louisville team that’s only won three games all season. Virginia now hosts Notre Dame, the second worst team in the conference behind Louisville. Notre Dame's defense ranks 309th out of 363 total teams, so Virginia should be able to score at will. And while Notre Dame is much better on the offensive end, Virginia owns the second-best defense in the ACC and 26th-best defense overall. The Cavs will get back on track with a double-digit win on Saturday.
Duke is terrible on the road, and now the refs are even stealing wins from them? OK, let's capitalize. The Blue Devils are just 2-6 SU and 1-7 ATS in true road games, and the Carrier Dome is one of the toughest places to play in college hoops. The Orange are 10-5 SU and 8-4 ATS there, and I see them chalking up another win in each column Saturday. With such a tight line here, take the Orange to win outright at home.
Baylor covered as a two-point home favorite against Kansas when these two faced off in January, making it three straight covers against the rival Jayhawks. Baylor has also won and covered in four straight overall, and I like the Bears to at least cover again Saturday to make it five straight covers. With Baylor winning 10 of the last 11 outright and Kansas sporting just a 5-8 ATS record at home, I like Baylor to cover again here.
