Kate Constable: Providence -10 vs. Butler

Butler’s leading scorer, Manny Bates, has missed the last three games with a knee injury and is questionable for tonight’s game against Providence. The Bulldogs have dropped two of the three games with Bates sidelined and they’re going to struggle if he’s unable to go tonight. However, even if he does play, the Friars should win this game by double digits. They beat Butler on the road by 20 earlier this season with Bates playing. Providence dominated the glass in that game and I don’t see why that would be any different tonight. I also think the Friars' leading scorer, Bryce Hopkins, will have a big game because the Bulldogs held him to a season-low six points last time they met. Providence has been dominant at home this season, so lay the points with the Friars tonight.

Dan Karpuc: Stonehill -7.5 at Hartford

I’ll be in attendance at this game (for some reason) and am absolutely going to fade Hartford, which has gone 1-7 SU (3-5 ATS) in the last eight home games. Stonehill has covered four consecutive times heading into this matchup and holds an advantage over the Hawks, who rank 362nd out of 363 Division I teams in KenPom’s overall rankings, including 360th offensively and 361st defensively. This might be the worst team in college basketball, which makes sense because Hartford's coach quit right before the season and the school is moving to D-III next year. Stonehill comes in ranked 323rd overall in KenPom’s rankings and is also way below average, but the Skyhawks have three different guys averaging over 12.0 points per game, while the Hawks have just one who averages double figures. That depth should help them win and cover on the road.

Matt Horner: Texas A&M +4.5 at Auburn

Love what I’m seeing here from the betting splits in this game. The line opened at +6.5 and was immediately hammered down to +4.5. We are getting into the range where this will be unplayable on the spread, so grab the +4.5 now before it gets bet down any further. This is all despite No. 15 Auburn getting a higher percentage of the money and bets overall.

Lucy Burdge: Houston -9.5 at UCF

Houston is coming off a one-point loss at home to Temple, but I think it gets back on track with a big win at UCF. Houston had won nine straight before that loss, covering in six of those wins. The Cougars are also 6-1 ATS on the road this season after covering four straight away from Houston. Plus, UCF has only covered in three of its last nine games. So I like Houston to get it done and cover the spread tonight.
