Kansas at Baylor Prediction

Historically, Kansas has owned Baylor in this matchup. As the Bears' head coach, Scott Drew is just 7-27 against Kansas. However, Baylor comes into tonight’s game as the better team at this moment. It has the second-best adjusted offense, according to KenPom, and is shooting well from all areas of the floor. The Bears are the better offensive-rebounding team and get to the free-throw line often. That’s going to be huge against a Kansas team that is struggling to defend. The Jayhawks are also struggling to knock down shots and relying too heavily on Jalen Wilson to carry their offense. Six of the last nine meetings between these two teams have been decided by five points or fewer, so I expect this to be a close one and will lay the extra juice on the Bears moneyline.

My picks: Baylor ML

New Mexico at Nevada Prediction

Nevada is a perfect 9-0 as the home team this season and has won seven of those games by double figures. I don't think it will win this game by double figures, but I do think the home winning streak will continue against a New Mexico team that just had a bit of a scare after nearly losing to Boise State in overtime. While these two teams are pretty evenly matched on both sides of the ball, the Wolf Pack hold a few advantages when it comes to getting to the free-throw line, taking care of the ball and having a height advantage down low. Plus, Nevada has played a much tougher schedule thus far, so give me the Wolf Pack to cover at home.

My pick: Nevada -3.5

Wisconsin at Northwestern Prediction

Northwestern hasn't played a game since Jan. 15 because of a Covid outbreak on the team. After not playing for eight days and having players who are coming back from being sick, I think the Wildcats are going to be a step behind tonight, especially on the defensive end. That's an area where the Badgers have thrived this season, ranking 26th in the nation and holding teams to just 32.7% from deep. Getting leading scorer Tyler Wahl back was also huge for Wisconsin, since its three conference losses all came without him. The Badgers have also dominated this series as of late, winning seven straight matchups and covering in each of those games.

My pick: Wisconsin +2.5
