We have a loaded college basketball slate tonight with some big-time matchups out west. Check out which games I have my eye on and where our BetQL model thinks we can find some value.
One trend to note is that the BetQL NCAAB model is on fire, going 323-189 (63%) on all moneyline picks rated ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and higher in the past 90 days for a total return of $4,064 on $100 bets! The last time these two teams played, Robert Morris won, 72-38. Green Bay went 2-for-21 from 3-point range and only shot 21.6% from the field. I expect a better offensive performance out of the Phoenix tonight, but I still don’t think they’re going to have enough to get over this number. They’ve only topped this number twice in their last five games and one of those games went into overtime. Robert Morris isn’t a great offensive team, which means its had to rely on its offense all season. The Colonials have the second-best defense in the Horizon League and they’re going to be able to shut down Green Bay at home tonight.
My pick: Green Bay team total u56.5
Iowa is well known for its offensive firepower. It ranks second in scoring in the Big Ten and can put up points in a hurry, averaging 86.6 points over its last three home games. On the defensive side of the ball, the Hawkeyes aren't nearly as dominant. They've given up 74.6 points over their last three home games and recently gave up 87 to Illinois on the road. Ohio State's season has been unraveling lately, but against a defensive team as bad as Iowa, the Buckeyes shouldn't have any problem putting points on the board. Head over to DraftKings and grab the over on this total at 152.5 before it ticks up!
My Pick: Ohio State at Iowa Over 152.5
Arizona is back home after a road loss to Utah on Saturday, marking the Wildcats' fourth loss of the season. Its other three losses have come to Oregon, Washington State and Utah, which Arizona plays tonight. I expect Arizona to get some revenge on the Utes, who beat them by 15 in early December, and cover this 10.5-point spread. In that last meeting, Arizona only shot 14.3% from 3, which I don't anticipate being the case again tonight. The Wildcats lead the Pac-12 in scoring, averaging 83.2 points per game. Arizona's Azuloas Tubelis and Oumar Ballo are also the top rebounders in the conference and if they can keep Branden Carlson in check, the Wildcats should be able to roll at home.
My Pick: Arizona -10.5
