Celtics 1Q -3.5 vs. Heat (-105, BetMGM)

The more I think about it, the more scared I am to take Celtics -9 with that number being so big. So, I’m going to go with the Celtics to cover the first-quarter spread of -3.5. I think the Celtics can get off to an early lead in this must-win game, even if the Heat come storming back again.

Red Sox SP James Paxton o5.5 Ks at Padres (-115, DraftKings)

Paxton’s last start was a triumphant return to the mound and he flew over this total with nine strikeouts. I see him doing that again tonight against the Padres. The Padres have the ninth-highest number of team total strikeouts in the league this season with 393 and they are averaging 8.93 strikeouts per game, so I think Paxton can hit the over on strikeouts once again here.

Golden Knights ML vs. Stars (-120, BetRivers)

The Stars were able to take down the Kraken in that series, but I think the Golden Knights will get the best of them in Game 1 with a win. And there is a BetQL trend in favor of the Golden Knights here, as the Stars are 3-14 SU versus teams outscoring opponents by 0.5 or more goals per game this season. So I think the Golden Knights can take Game 1 tonight.
