Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 1.5 Blocks vs. Bucks
Fresh off tying a Grizzlies record with eight blocks (including four in the first quarter) in his last game, Jackson Jr. has gone over 1.5 blocks in five of his last six games and has amassed a ridiculous 17 over his last three contests. He’s averaging 3.6 blocks per game this season, which is more than the entire Kings and Heat teams as a whole. In six of his 11 games this season, he’s had at least four blocks, which is nuts! His 40 blocks are tied for 10th in the league even though he missed 14 games due to injury.
"I've never caught this type of rhythm defensively before," he said after his eight-block outing, per The Commerical Appeal. "I don't really know what it's because of and I don't even know if I want to find out. I want to just ride the wave."
The obvious concern with JJR is foul trouble, but regardless, I think this total should be a full block higher.
Zion Williamson Over 7.5 Rebounds vs. Jazz
Williamson had nine boards in this exact matchup last game and didn’t see fourth quarter action due to the blowout loss. Overall, he’s gone over this 7.5-rebound number in six of his last eight games and in that span, he’s averaged 9.1 boards per contest and 13.5 rebound chances per game. If this game stays closer than the last meeting between these two teams (which I think it will), I expect Williamson to rack up double-digit boards.
