The Heat are coming off a narrow, two-point win over the Thunder last night. Although Miami has won their last two games, they’ve been struggling lately are don’t look like a team that I want to back, especially on the second game of a back-to-back. The Heat are just 1-4 ATS on no days rest, while Houston is 4-2 ATS with the rest advantage and 7-3-1 ATS as home underdogs. That said, I like the over in this game best. Dan Karpuc: Jazz +1.5 vs. Pelicans
With Brandon Ingram and Jose Alvarado out for the Pelicans, these two teams will square off in an exact rematch of Tuesday’s game. In that one, the Jazz won, 121-100, and improved two impressive trends in the process. Utah is now 13-3 ATS when playing against teams with winning records and 14-4 ATS as an underdog. Jazz coach Will Hardy consistently gets his team ready to play and it’s clear that the extra incentive to show up as an underdog has paid off. While Zion Williamson is an absolute freak of nature, his supporting cast has been difficult to trust and New Orleans has gone 3-5 ATS in the last eight games heading into this one.

Lucy Burdge: Jazz +1.5 vs. Pelicans
The Jazz are coming off a win over the Pelicans on Tuesday and they defeated New Orleans earlier this season as well, so I see Utah covering this spread and getting another win here. The Jazz, who beat N.O. 121-100 earlier this week, are 13-3 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record this season, so I think they can cover this spread against the Pelicans once again.
