Kate Constable: San Diego ML vs. Portland (+195, BetMGM)

Both of these teams are really bad, ranking in the bottom three in the West Coast Conference. Portland has lost its last four games and doesn’t deserve to be a 5.5-point favorite, despite San Diego also having lost its last five. The Pilots beat the Toreros twice this season, which is part of the reason I like San Diego. It’s hard to beat a team three straight times, especially when it has an offense that can get hot and put up a ton of points. Dan Karpuc: Warriors ML vs. Clippers (+145, Bet365)

It appears that the new-look Clippers are going to need a little time to adjust. Losers of three consecutive contests, Los Angeles is now on the front end of a back-to-back, which makes the status of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Russell Westbrook even murkier. I think the Senators are highly underrated in the market and can make a second-half playoff push. Ottawa, which has won three in a row, is scoring 3.12 goals per game while allowing 3.13, and also outshooting their opponents 33.2 to 31.9 on average. That goal differential keeps getting closer and closer to being positive. I know it's probably a bad idea to bet against the Rangers on Patrick Kane's debut day, but I can't pass up this value. The last time these two teams played at MSG, the Senators took home a 3-2 win. They can win this game, too, and they can spoil No. 88's NYC debut.

Lucy Burdge: Penguins ML at Lightning (+145, BetMGM)

The Penguins have won their last three games, while the Lightning have lost three of their last four, including one to the Penguins. The Lightning have also lost three of their last five at home and the Penguins have won four of their last six on the road.
