This is a going to be a battle between the two hottest 3-point shooters in the NBA in Damian Lillard and Klay Thompson. Lillard is coming off a 71-point performance in which he knocked down 13 3s. I don’t foresee that happening again, but it speaks to how good the Blazers offense has been lately. They have the fourth-best offensive rating on the season and are currently only a half-game behind New Orleans for the 10th seed. There is also a chance that Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins are out for this game, which will give the Blazers the advantage despite being on the road. DraftKings has Blazers +150 and a great welcome offer as well!
LeBron James is going to be out due to a foot injury that he suffered in his last game, which is obviously a bummer for the Lakers, but this team has a lot of depth after a busy trade deadline and should have momentum after an incredible comeback win against the Mavericks. Steven Adams is still out for the Grizzlies, which matters quite a bit, in my opinion; Memphis is going to have a difficult time keeping Anthony Davis out of the post and off the glass. D’Angelo Russell, Dennis Schroder, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, Rui Hachimura, Mo Bamba and Lonnie Walker are all candidates to step up and deliver with LeBron out. Memphis has been great at home this year, but I think the Grizzlies are overvalued in this matchup, and you can get an incredible price (and welcome offer) at Caesars below!
Clemson was seeing a massive amount of sharp money early Tuesday, so don't be surprised if this moneyline continues to shrink. As Kate pointed out in today's NCAAB Betting Guide, Virginia hasn't looked right lately, dropping its last two against UNC and Boston College after barely slipping past Notre Dame and Louisville (and the Cavs should have lost to Duke, but I digress). UVa is averaging just 57.3 points per game in those last four games; with offense like that, just about any opponent has a chance for an upset, and I think Clemson has great value with a +235 price tag at BetRivers.
No chance I'm laying -220 with the Sabres, but I'm also not comfortable laying goals in this situation because Buffalo allows too many goals and shots. Instead, I'll take a shot at a massive number on the Blue Jackets to win this game. No one wants to take them, and while they are awful, I just don't think the Sabres deserve to be favored this much. It's all about the value, and the best value on Columbus is at BetRivers, along with a great welcome offer below!
The Blackhawks have won five of their last six games, while the Coyotes have lost five of their last eight, including two straight. The Blackhawks have also won three of their last four games on the road, while the Coyotes have lost their last two at home. Also, the Blackhawks beat the Coyotes, 4-3, earlier this month and I think they can do it again here. Bet365 has the best price at the time of this writing, along with a great signup offer below!
