The Clippers are one of the best under teams at home this season. They have a 7-21-1 over/under record, which equates to the under hitting 75.9% of the time. That said, their last two games went into overtime and sailed over the totals. L.A.'s defense hasn’t been great lately, but tonight presents a good opportunity to get it back on track against a Timberwolves squad that has struggled on the offense end. The Wolves rank 24th in offensive efficiency over their last five games and have struggled mightily from all areas of the floor, including the free-throw line, where they rank 29th over that span. Dan Karpuc: Nuggets -5.5 1H at Rockets

The Rockets (13-47 SU, 22-34-4 ATS) stink. They’ve lost nine in a row and have gone 3-24 SU (7-20 ATS) in their last 27 games. The Nuggets (43-19 SU, 33-26-3 ATS) have been the best team in the West this season and have won and covered the spread in five of their last six games heading into this matchup. As an organization, the Rockets are in shambles right now, from the front office to the coaching staff to the roster. As Damian Lillard showed when he dropped 71 points against them on Sunday, this Houston squad can’t really do anything defensively and also has no direction on the offensive end. In fact, the Rockets own the NBA’s worst Offensive Rating and second-worst Defensive Rating on the year. I have complete confidence in Nikola Jokic and his teammates taking care of business, but fear that Denver’s starters won’t be on the floor at all in the fourth quarter due to a blowout. Lucy Burdge: Bucks -6.5 at Nets

The Bucks have covered in six of their last eight meetings with the Nets, including in their win over them last October. And the Nets have failed to cover in three of their last five games, while the Bucks have covered in six of their last eight games in total.
