Kate Constable: Wizards +136 (FanDuel) at Blazers

Both of these teams are on a back-to-back with the Wizards losing at Golden State last night and the Blazers beating the Lakers at home. They are also both very good when playing on no rest with Washington 7-3 ATS and Portland 6-3 ATS in this spots. However, the Wizards are a much better team when playing on equal rest as their opponent. They’re covering the spread 52.2% of the time, while the Blazers only cover 43.3% of the time in those situations. With Jusuf Nurkic also sidelined through the All-Star break, the Blazers frontcourt is pretty thin and Kristaps Porzingis should be able to take advantage and help the Wizards pull off the upset on the road. 

Brad Pinkerton: Magic +235 (DraftKings) at Raptors

Can the Magic do it again? Fresh off yet another upset win against the Bulls last night, Orlando has now won four of its last six, including three straight road wins. The only thing I don't like about the Magic tonight is that they're on a back-to-back while the Raptors were off last night after three straight home games, but these Magic kids don't need rest, right? Also, the Magic are 19-14 since Dec. 7, while the Raptors are just 15-19 -- with two losses to Orlando -- in that stretch. I'll take the value on Orlando to pull another magic trick tonight.

Matt Horner: Senators +178 (Caesars) at Islanders

I wrote an entire article on why I will be backing the Senators over the second half, and I am making good on that word. They are outshooting their opponents 33.4 to 32.0, controlling the ice for the most part. Their goal differential has to get better, scoring 3.02 goals per game and allowing 3.23, but I believe it will. Most teams that are taking as many shots as Ottawa are scoring at the very least 3.25 goals per game, so I think the goals will come.

Meanwhile, I haven't liked what I have seen from the Islanders as a whole, relying far to much on their great goaltending. This is some really good value here with the better team, in my opinion. Yes, the Sens are on a back-to-back, but I can't pass up this number on Ottawa.

Lucy Burdge: Providence ML +110 (Caesars) vs. Creighton

The Friars are on an absolute tear at home, going a perfect 13-0 in Providence. They have also won four of their last six games overall. I'll take that home momentum over Creighton's eight-game winning streak, which includes three straight road wins at Butler, Georgetown and Seton Hall. So I like Providence in this revenge spot to get the win after falling to Creighton exactly a month ago.
