The Suns defense has been phenomenal lately, ranking second in the league over the last five games. They’ve held opponents to under 105 points in three of their last five games and under 35% from deep in four of those games. They’re also back at home after a lengthy road trip and have the rest advantage over Sacramento. The Kings are playing their third game in four days and are coming off an overtime win against the Mavericks. This is also their last game before the All-Star break, while the Suns still have to play the Clippers on Thursday. Phoenix may be a little bit more focused while Sacramento has already begun looking towards the break. Not to mention, Kevin Durant will be sitting on Phoenix’s bench tonight, so I would expect the Suns to try and show out and give him a preview of what he’s walking into.
Fox and the Kings are squaring off with the Phoenix Suns in what should be an awesome Western Conference clash. Sacramento needs Fox to be a beast on a nightly basis, and he’s been the engine behind their resurgence. Not only that, be he has gone over this number in four of his last five game, going over 30 in all four of them. He’ll need to again tonight against Devin Booker and Co.
BetMGMÂ NBA OGP Insurance Play of the Day
If you're not playing BetMGM's NBA OGP Insurance promo yet, you're leaving money on the table. Opt in to the promo and place a four-leg (minimum) NBA one-game parlay; if your OGP loses by one leg, you'll get your stake back in a free bet up to $25 -- and you can take advantage of this promo once every day there's an NBA game!
Here is my play for today, using the strategy of "middling" the alt totals and the alt spreads for each team to increase the odds of triggering the insurance if the parlay doesn't hit. You can apply this strategy to any NBA game, any night:
Kings-Suns o223.5
Kings-Suns u243.5
Kings +12.5
Suns +7.5
OGP odds: +270
Join BetMGM to start taking advantage of their daily OGP insurance promos across NBA, NFL and NHL. New BetMGM customers also get a risk-free first bet up to $1,000 using the offer below!
The Celtics are on a four-game win and cover streak, while the Bucks have failed to cover three of their last five spreads at home. Back when these teams faced off on Christmas, the Celtics won, 139-118. Now they are going at it on another holiday and I think the Celtics will cover again in this Valentine’s Day game, even without Jayson Tatum (doubtful, illness).
