Jrue Holiday Over 19.5 Points -120 at DraftKings
With Tyrese Haliburton out, Jrue Holiday will get checked by TJ McConnell in man-to-man situations, which should give him a distinct advantage. Milwaukee’s point guard has gone over this number in four of his last five games and has the shooting volume we’re looking for; he’s taken 16.4 shots per game on average in the month of January. While Khris Middleton’s return and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s presence may make you hesitate, Holiday’s role in this offense isn’t going anywhere and he can drop 30 on any given night, especially against this version of the Pacers.
Jimmy Butler Under 10.5 Rebounds + Assists -145 at DraftKings
It’s clear that Jimmy Butler isn’t himself right now. Averaging 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists (6.4 rebounds + assists) over his last five games, Miami’s wing has simply not been active on the court. Those 3.6 rebounds came on just 8.6 rebounding chances in that span. Those 2.8 assists came on 5.8 potential assists per game in that five-game set. Over his last 15 games, he’s stayed under this 10.5 rebounds + assists number 11 times and I will continue to target this until he proves me wrong.
D’Angelo Russell Over 2.5 Made Threes -175 at DraftKings
The Timberwolves may be a dumpster fire, but D’Angelo Russell has taken advantage of the offensive usage that’s been available and has caught fire lately. The point guard has gone over this number in six consecutive games and has averaged 3.2 made threes per game in the month of January. The Grizzlies just let the Warriors go 14-for-32 (43.8%) from three last game and the Kings go 22-for-40 (55.0%) from three the game before, so it’s clear that they haven’t had an answer for the deep ball lately.
