Pistons at Clippers Prediction

The Pistons (3-12 SU, 6-8-1 ATS, 9-5-1 O/U) enter this game ranked 27th in the NBA in Offensive Rating and 30th in Defensive Rating and will be without injured starters Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart. Despite that, it’s worth knowing that Detroit head coach Dwane Casey has gone 52-32 ATS after four or more consecutive losses over his career. The Clippers (8-7 SU, 7-8 ATS, 3-12 O/U) own the Association’s 29th-ranked Offensive Rating but rank 2nd in Defensive Rating. Kawhi Leonard’s status is up in the air for this one, as it has been pretty much every game in recent weeks, so keep an eye on that storyline. My lean: Clippers ATS.

Nets at Trail Blazers Prediction

The Nets (6-9 SU, 6-9 ATS, 6-9 O/U) rank 16th in Offensive Rating and 22nd in Defensive Rating. Kyrie Irving (suspension) will continue to be out until he meets Brooklyn’s requirements and the Nets are coming off an embarrassing 153-121 loss to the Kings last time out. The Trail Blazers (10-4 SU, 10-3-1 ATS, 5-8-1 O/U) rank 14th in Offensive Rating and 8th in Defensive Rating and have a couple of important trends to note heading into this matchup. Portland has gone 8-2 SU when the total is 220 points or more this season and 6-1 SU against teams that average 23 or more assists per game this season. My Lean: Trail Blazers ATS.

Spurs at Kings Prediction

The Spurs (6-9 SU, 9-6 ATS, 7-8 O/U) rank 24th in Offensive Rating and 28th in Defensive Rating and have fallen off after an awesome start to the year. Romeo Langford, Zach Collins and Malaki Branham will all be out with injuries and the rebuilding nature of this squad is starting to become more and more evident. Meanwhile, the Kings (7-6 SU, 10-3 ATS, 6-6-1 O/U) might be turning the corner under new head coach Mike Brown. They rank 2nd in Offensive Rating and while their 26th ranking in Defensive Rating leaves a lot to be desired, their improvement on the other end of the floor has been noticeable. Mike Brown is 43-20 ATS after successfully covering the spread in 4 or more consecutive games over his career, so that’s a trend in their favor as well. Rookie Keegan Murray left the last game with an injury and is questionable for this one. My Lean: Kings ATS.
