Kate Constable: Pelicans -4 vs. Wizards

With Brandon Ingram back in the lineup, I expect the Pelicans to revert back to the same dominant form we saw from them throughout November and December. They’ve lost their last six games, but two of their last three came by a combined five points. I know that the Wizards have been winning lately, but the last time these two teams met, New Orleans beat them by 20 and outscored them in the paint, 74-46. This is a solid spot for the Pels to get back on track, so back them on Saturday.

Dan Karpuc: Lakers +8 at Celtics

With Marcus Smart (ankle) still out, I expect the Celtics to continue struggling on the defensive end. Boston has failed to cover the spread in five consecutive games and has lost outright in three straight. Since Anthony Davis is back alongside LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, Los Angeles should be able to keep this game close and I wouldn't be shocked if they pulled off the outright upset.

Lucy Burdge: Lakers +8 at Celtics

The Celtics have been horrible when it comes to covering the spread lately, and until they figure it out, I like the Lakers to cover against them in this one. The Celtics have failed to cover in their last five games, while the Lakers have covered in five of their last seven games and in five of their last seven on the road. With the way the Celtics are playing right now, I think the Lakers can cover this spread in Boston.
