Raptors at Trail Blazers Prediction

The Toronto Raptors (22-26 SU, 24-24 ATS, 25-22-1 O/U) are back on the road tonight, facing the Portland Trail Blazers (23-25 SU, 26-22 ATS, 22-25-1 O/U).

Toronto is in a tough spot having played the Warriors last night in Golden State. It now has to turn around and play in Portland, which isn't the easiest place to get to travel-wise, meaning the Raptors probably got to their hotel pretty late and will be fatigued coming into this one. This is a solid spot for the Blazers, who have been at home for the last week and just strung together two nice wins even if they were against the Spurs and Jazz. Dame Lillard also just went off for 60 points in his last outing. I like the direction Portland's offense has been headed lately and I think it'll have enough to cover against a tired Toronto team.

Kings at Timberwolves Prediction

The Minnesota Timberwolves (25-25 SU, 22-27-1 ATS, 24-26 O/U) host the Sacramento Kings (27-19 SU, 25-20-1 ATS, 22-23-1 O/U) on Saturday night at the Target Center.

The Wolves are on a back-to-back having played the Grizzlies last night and now have a quick turnaround before playing the Kings, who are very good on the road. Sacramento is 13-7 ATS on the road and has a nice rest advantage over Minnesota after two days off. This is also the first of a two-game mini-series between these teams, so the Wolves may choose to rest players on the back-to-back and focus on winning Monday's game. I could also see Sacramento opening as an underdog in this game, which in that case, I'd play them on the moneyline.

Wizards at Pelicans Prediction

The New Orleans Pelicans (26-23 SU, 24-23-2 ATS, 27-22 O/U) host the Washington Wizards (22-26 SU, 22-24-2 ATS, 24-22-2 O/U) for their second and final meeting of the season.

With Brandon Ingram back in the lineup, I expect the Pelicans to revert back to the same dominant form we saw from them throughout November and December. They’ve lost their last six games, but two of their last three came by a combined five points. I know that the Wizards have been winning lately, but the last time these two teams met, New Orleans beat them by 20 and outscored them in the paint, 74-46. This is a solid spot for the Pels to get back on track, so back them on Saturday.
