Dan Karpuc: Wizards -3 vs. Nets
With Kyrie Irving now suspended for at least five games, Ben Simmons injured and Steve Nash fired, it’s been quite a week for Brooklyn. Now, it’ll be the Kevin Durant show, but he won’t be able to make everything happen on his own. The Nets have gone 1-7 ATS this season, including 0-6 ATS in their last six games. Ouch. The Wizards check into this game 4-4 SU and 3-4-1 ATS, but have a distinct edge to win and cover, as confirmed by the BetQL Model, which projects the Wizards to win by more than five tonight. Coming off of a 10-point win against the Sixers in Philadelphia, Washington has some momentum on its side, as Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma and a strong bench should be enough to overwhelm the dumpster fire that is the Nets franchise right now.

Brad Pinkerton: Warriors-Pelicans Over 233
This is going to be a fun, high-scoring game. And while I like Warriors +5, I'm more comfortable hitting the over here as long as Golden State doesn't rest any key starters on this second night of a back-to-back (in which case, I'd steer clear of the total and spread entirely). These teams are among the three highest-scoring teams in the league, and Golden State is allowing the most points per game, while New Orleans is in the middle of the pack. As a result, they are a combined 13-3 O/U, including a combined 8-1 O/U in conference games. While this is a high total, these teams are a combined 6-1 when the total is at least 229.5. The Pelicans are also expected to get Brandon Ingram (concussion) back and as long as the Warriors are playing at full strength, I think these teams clear this high total Friday night.
