Dan Karpuc: Pelicans -6.5 vs. Blazers
With Damian Lillard (rest) ruled out, it's difficult not to love New Orleans to win and cover tonight. I got them at -6.5 and I'm also going to hit the player market with Anfernee Simons (over 19.5 points, over 3.5 assists and any combinations seem logical) based on the presumed usage bump he's going to get. Jusuf Nurkic and Jerami Grant are both questionable, so if they sit this is even better of an opportunity to cash.

Lucy Burdge: Mavericks ML -170 at Wizards
The Mavericks are coming into this game with a 6-4 record, while the Wizards are 5-6 and I think the Mavericks will add one to the win column here. The Mavericks have won four of their last five games, while the Wizards have lost five of their last seven. Plus, some trends in favor of the Mavericks here are that Jason Kidd while coaching Dallas is 31-14 SU after having won three of their last four games, and 26-11 after two or more consecutive unders. With all of these factors in favor of the Mavericks, I see them getting the road win here.

Brad Pinkerton: 76ers +100 ML at Hawks
The 76ers are coming off two days of rest after taking down the Suns, 100-88, on Monday. That was an impressive (and much-needed) win for the Sixers, who are off to a sluggish start to the season. Meanwhile, Atlanta is in the second of a back-to-back after losing to the Jazz at home last night and in the midst of a 3-in-4, with a rematch against this same 76ers squad on the road Saturday. This is all part of a brutal two-week stretch for Atlanta, playing the likes of Milwaukee (twice), Toronto and New Orleans, and with the schedule not easing up any time soon, I wouldn't be surprised to see Atlanta rest some guys tonight. In what should be a tight game either way, I'm giving the well-rested 76ers a slight edge and taking them at even-money now because I could see the line move toward Philly if the Hawks are resting/limiting some players tonight.
