Dan Karpuc: Hornets -2 at Magic
With LaMelo Ball out and Terry Rozier and Cody Martin both doubtful for this game, the Hornets are going to be short-handed, but that’s nothing compared to what the Magic have to deal with. Orlando will be without all of their ball-handlers, as Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz and Jalen Suggs will all miss this contest. That means R.J. Hampton should see all the minutes he can handle at point guard while Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero should also be asked to distribute more than usual. This Hornets team took a full-strength Knicks team to overtime in their last game and have been pesky with a 3-1 ATS record. Meanwhile, the Magic haven’t won a game yet and have gone 1-3-1 ATS. Dennis Smith Jr. and Kelly Oubre are relishing their opportunities in the starting unit for Charlotte and I expect the Hornets to sting Orlando on the road.

Lucy Burdge: Celtics -5.5 vs. Cavaliers
There are some huge trends in Boston's favor to cover tonight. Over the last two years, Boston is 14-2 ATS versus teams outrebounding opponents by at least 3.0 rpg; 19-8 ATS when the total is at least 220; and 37-23 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record. Plus, J.B. Bickerstaff is just 32-49 ATS in road games while coaching Cleveland. So I think the Celtics (3-1) will get back to winning tonight and cover against the Cavaliers.

Brad Pinkerton: Raptors +1.5 vs. 76ers
We just watched the Raptors beat the Sixers by 10 in Philly on Wednesday, so I'll gladly take Toronto +1.5 in a rematch at home. The Raptors have started the season 4-1 ATS, including 2-0 at home. Small samples and all that, but the 76ers also haven't looked great to start the season, going 1-4 SU and ATS, including 0-2 in both categories on the road. Something clearly isn't clicking for Philly yet and after watching Toronto's comfortable win against them earlier this week, Raptors +1.5 (or even the plus-moneyline) looks like a great value.
