The model has the Knicks favored by -12 points, which is a -3.5 point difference from the current line. That means that we show some value here in New York to crush the Timberwolves tonight at Madison Square Garden. Minnesota has lost three straight games, and they are pretty terrible on the road. Not only that, but Chris Finch is just 5-19 ATS after 3 consecutive non-conference games while coaching Minnesota, who will likely be without All-Star Anthony Edwards tonight due to an injury.
Dan Karpuc: Joel Embiid Under 33.5 Points vs. Bulls (-106, FanDuel)
To be honest, it’s scary betting under a Joel Embiid scoring prop (he’s averaged 36.1 points per game this month). However, matchups matter and this one against Nikola Vucevic has been significant. Embiid has averaged just 23.9 points per game in head-to-head matchups against Vuc in his career and has gone under 33.5 points in 14 of 15 starts. In Embiid’s first and only meeting against the Bulls this season back in November, he scored 25 points and BetQL is projecting him to score 24 points, making this a five-star max value play tonight. Opposing centers have averaged 21.94 points per game against Chicago this season.
