Kate Constable: Bucks -6 at Lakers

Is LeBron James going to play with the same amount of urgency tonight after having passed the all-time scoring record on Tuesday? Yeah, maybe, because it’s LeBron, but I also think we could see a bit of a hangover affect from The King. Couple that with the fact that Russell Westbrook was just traded and won’t be on the floor to manage the Lakers second unit. Also, what’s up with Anthony Davis? Is there beef between he and LeBron after he didn’t cheer when LeBron broke the record? I have a lot of question about what this Lakers team might look like tonight. I don’t have any questions about what we’ll get from the Bucks, so I’ll lay the points with them on the road.

Lucy Burdge: Bucks -6 at Lakers

The Lakers have failed to cover in three straight games, while the Bucks have covered four of their last six and are 25-15 ATS as the favorites this season. Plus, the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Lakers and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record. So I think Giannis and the Bucks will keep their momentum going tonight and cover this spread against LeBron and the Lakers.

Dan Karpuc: Chris Paul double-double (+100, BetMGM)

With the NBA's trade deadline being this afternoon, I don’t feel comfortable touting a single team today, so I’m going to go with CP3 getting a double-double, which has a better price than just o9.5 assists (-120). He’s recorded double-digit assists in six of his last nine starts and has averaged 17.7 potential assists in that span. With Devin Booker (11.0 potential assists in that same span) out tonight and Mikal Bridges (6.8 potential assists) gone via trade, CP3 is going to have astronomical usage against an Atlanta team that has allowed an average of 26.7 assists per game over its last three matchups. I expect to see a ton of pick-and-roll opportunities with Paul and Deandre Ayton and think there’s 15-plus dime upside tonight for CP3 if you want to ladder up on his assists.
