Kate Constable: Raptors -10.5 vs. Spurs

The Spurs have only won two games since the start of 2023. They’ve lost 16 games over that timeframe, including nine straight, with 11 of those losses coming by double digits. San Antonio’s roster is one of the worst in the league on a good day, but has been especially bad lately with a number of players on the injury report. Keldon Johnson is listed as questionable for tonight, and while I expect him to play, that still doesn’t do enough to move the needle for me. The Raptors already beat the Spurs once this season by 43 and I think we see another big win by Toronto at home tonight. Plus, the Spurs haven’t covered in eight straight games.

Dan Karpuc: Kings -8 at Rockets

Let me first begin by stating that I like the over (241) here, too. This will be a rematch of Monday’s game and that finished with a 260-point total in a 140-120 Kings win. The two times before that, the teams combined for 250 and 253 points. However, 241 points is a bit too high for me to feel comfortable, especially if Houston goes cold. I’d rather just target the Kings -8. They’ve won by 20, 25 and 20 points in the first three meetings and have scored 140, 139 and 135 points in those contests. Mike Brown’s motion offense has given Houston’s turnstile defense massive issues and I don’t expect that to suddenly change in the fourth meeting between these two squads.

Lucy Burdge: Celtics -4.5 vs. 76ers

The Celtics came through and covered the 11-point spread in their last game against the Pistons and I am going with them once to cover here against the Sixers. When the Celtics and 76ers faced off to start the season, the Celtics beat Philadelphia, 126-117, so I think the Celtics can take them down once again and cover this spread.
