Kate Constable: Sixers -6 vs. Heat

What’s happened to the Miami Heat lately? They’ve lost their last four games and have failed to cover in each of them. That includes going 0-2 since the All-Star break with a 29-point loss to the Bucks and a loss to a bad Hornets team. Both of those games were on the road and that continues tonight with them playing in Philly. I think the Sixers come into this game with a little added motivation after a heartbreaking loss to the Celtics on Saturday. This is also the first time these two teams have met since Miami knocked Philly out of the Eastern Conference semifinals last season. I expect the Sixers to be hungry for revenge tonight, so I’ll lay the -6 with the home team.

Dan Karpuc: Celtics -2 at Knicks

The Celtics are coming off a spectacular comeback win on the road against the Sixers on Saturday night and have now gone 19-10 ATS against teams with winning records this season. I’ll absolutely back them against the Knicks at this number. Over the last two seasons, Boston has gone 19-4 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the regular-season schedule, so the Celtics have taken care of business down the stretch. The C’s have covered the spread in seven of their last eight contests and Boston won the first matchup at Madison Square Garden, 133-118. Sure, the Knicks have been playing solid ball lately, but Boston’s depth and star power trump New York’s, even though the C's will be without Jaylen Brown.

Lucy Burdge: Celtics -2 at Knicks

The Celtics have covered the spread in three of their last five matchups against the Knicks and the last time they covered against the Knicks was also on the road. The Celtics are 16-14 ATS on the road this season and 25-18 ATS after a win. And they are, of course, coming off of that big win over the 76ers on Saturday. In total, the Celtics are 34-27 ATS this season, including 23-16 ATS with one day off. And as the home team, the Knicks are only 13-16-3 ATS and 4-5-1 ATS as the home favorite, so I like the Celtics to cover this spread tonight!

Matt Horner: Jonas Valanciunas u14.5 points (-106, FanDuel)

The big man for the New Orleans Pelicans hasn’t really been scoring much lately, and has never really been known as a high-scoring center. Valanciunas has gone under this number in five straight games, averaging just 11.4 over that span. I’ll take a bet that he stays at 14 or below again tonight against the Magic.
