Kate Constable: Suns -6.5 vs. Thunder

The Thunder are on a back-to-back with travel after playing in Utah last night. Coming off of a week-long break, playing games on consecutive nights is going to come with extra fatigue as teams get back into the swing of things. The Suns are finally healthy and with the newfound energy they've shown since Kevin Durant arrived in Phoenix (even though he won't be making his debut tonight) makes me like them even more. Their defensive effort and efficiency leading up to the break was the best I've seen all season and stacking wins is becoming more and more important for postseason positioning. Meanwhile, despite OKC’s defense being above league average for the majority of the season, it’s dropped below that mark over its last 10 games and I don't think it's going to have what it takes to stop the Suns at the Footprint Center on Friday. Dan Karpuc: Knicks -1 1H at Wizards (+100, BetRivers)

Under Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks have been dominant against the first-half spread, going 72-36 (66.7%) on the road. Further, against the first-half spread this season, they’ve gone 34-11 (75.6%) versus teams that allow their opponents to shoot 46% or better, and 32-14 (69.6%) versus teams that average 23.0 or more assists per game. Coming out of the All-Star break, it seems like Bradley Beal (questionable) will likely miss this game, but even if he plays, he won’t be at 100 percent. No team has sniffed New York’s 40-18-2 (+20.5 units, 30.89% ROI) 1H ATS record this year and I’m going to continue to trust them, especially against a mediocre squad like the Wizards. I expect All-Star Julius Randle and All-Star snub Jalen Brunson to come out firing and make an instant statement on Friday night. Matt Horner: Trae Young o10.5 assists (+110, DraftKings)

This is a huge number to back for an assists prop, but perhaps the only player in the league who is worthy of it is Trae Young right now. He’s gone over this number in five straight games, sometimes by a huge margin. In that span, he’s had totals of 14, 16 and 17 assists. He’s distributing the ball at an otherworldly level right now, and we’ll see if he can keep it up out of the break.
