They’ve shown off as a pitching staff and what’s craziest is that they’ve underachieved offensively based on what we expect from the names in their lineup. Nonetheless, this will be a pitching mismatch between Dodgers ace Walker Buehler (5-1, 2.89 ERA) and Nationals youngster Josiah Gray (4-3, 4.36 ERA), who was traded from LA as part of the Trea Turner deal. Weirdly enough, the Nationals have gone 9-19 versus the run line in night games this season, so that trend is active in this matchup. Further, the Dodgers are 30-11 vs. the run line when playing against a team with a win percentage of 38% or less over the last two years.

Lucy Burdge: Rays -165 ML vs. Marlins
The Rays have won three of their last five games and three of their last four at home, so I really like their chances to beat the Marlins in this one. Some trends favoring them to win are that while, managing Tampa Bay, Kevin Cash is 89-60 SU vs. a starting pitcher who gives up 0.5 or fewer home runs per start, and 88-52 after a game where their bullpen blew a save. With these trends considered, I really like the Rays to get the win to open up this series.
