As mentioned previously, this is a very unpredictable course and anything can happen. He's ranked No. 2 in the world via the OWGR (Official World Golf Rankings), and comes in with a hot hand. McIlroy posted back-to-back T-21 finishes in the Cognizant Classic and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, respectively. His putter killed him last year in this event, but he has been strong with it this season so far. It's his approach game that needs the most work, which is unlike Rory.

Xander Schauffele Top-5 Finish (+500, Bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The BetQL model is projecting Schauffele to have +182 odds to finish inside the top five. Schauffele is one of the best golfers in the world, ranking at No. 5 on the OWGR right now. He's never won here at TPC Sawgrass, but there is always a first for anything. He tied for 19th here last year and already has four top-10 finishes this season in six events played. Schauffele is eighth right now in total strokes gained, and he has been performing very well overall. We don't need him to win here, just for him to be inside the top five when all is said and done.

Tony Finau Top-10 Finish (+500, DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The BetQL model is projecting Finau to have +144 odds to finish inside the top 10. The veteran American golfer has played six events this season and placed inside the top 25 in every one of them, but he only has one top-10 finish. Finau has never won here, and last year in 2023, he tied for 19th. He's ranked No. 28 on the OWGR right now and also ranked 28th in total strokes gained in 2024. He would certainly be a longshot to win here, but finishing inside the top 10 isn't crazy to imagine.

He's ranked 112th in total strokes gained and has been terrible on his approach game. Still, this is good value and we just need a top-20 finish here.

Lee is 78th in strokes gained right now, which isn't amazing, but he came in sixth here last year after missing the cut in his previous event.
