Rory McIlroy To Win +950 at FanDuel
Coming off a T2 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, McIlroy won this event in 2019 and has +494 odds to win this week per our model, making these +950 odds a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ value. Ranking 1st on Tour in Driving Distance, Rory also ranks 1st in SG: Tee-to-Green and 4th in SG: Total. When he’s on, McIlroy has the rare ability to completely take over a tournament.
Jon Rahm Top 5 Finish +250 at Caesars
The world’s hottest golfer has made the cut in all five of his appearances at the Player’s Championship, including two Top 10 finishes. Our model is listing his Top 5 odds at +154 this week, making +250 a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ value. While he came back down to Earth a bit last week, this has been an historic start to the year for him.
Xander Schauffele Top 10 Finish +290 at FanDuel
Schauffele has four Top 10 finishes in eight starts this season and we’re giving him +133 odds to add another one this week, which makes his +290 odds a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ value. Ranking 4th on Tour in SG: Approach to Green and 9th in SG: Total, Schauffele should be in the hunt yet again.
Tony Finau Top 20 Finish +140 at FanDuel
Finau has had seven Top 20 finishes in his last eight starts and that incredible form has led us to give him -132 to finish in that range again this week, making his +140 odds ⭐⭐⭐⭐ bargain. He has historically struggled at this event which is why his odds are what they are, but our model is prioritizing recent form over that history.
Denny McCarthy Top 40 Finish +175 at BetRivers
McCarthy has seven Top 40 finishes in 13 starts this season and our data suggests that he should add another to his record this week, as our -166 odds indicate. His +175 odds are a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ value as a result and he’s been avoiding bogeys (29th on Tour in Bogey Avoidance) and has been no stranger to shooting under par as his 182 Total Birdies (17th) proves.
