Tennis star Roger Federer announced on Sunday he will miss the US Open to undergo surgery for a knee injury. And this has had an effect on the betting odds for who will win the US Open.

“Roger Federer is going to miss the US Open. Federer is not the force he once was but is a fan favorite and had received the seventh most tickets to win the tournament,” said Michael Wood, Head of Tennis at BetMGM. “Novak Djokovic is the betting favorite and the sportsbook’s biggest liability.”
