With year-round action around the globe, there's never a break in tennis betting. From the popular tournament winner odds to the granular levels of live sports betting, the action never stops. As you jump into the odds this year, here’s an online sports betting glossary for the types of tennis bets.

Deuce: Will a particular game reach deuce (i.e., 40-40)? You bet “Yes” or “No.”

Final Matchup: You bet on the specific matchup in the final. At the start of the tournament, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of options (e.g., Djokovic vs. Daniil Medvedev). With each result throughout the tournament, options are eliminated.

Game Score: Betting on the exact score of one game within a set. In most cases for game score, aka correct score or correct score group, the Wimbledon odds include, for example, “Novak Djokovic wins to 0 or 15,” or “Roger Federer wins to 30 or 40” and cover all possible outcomes.

Game Score - After (x) Points: You bet on the game score after a certain number of points. For example, what is the game score after three points? 

Game Winner: Betting on the winner of one game.

Games Won - Match: How many games will Serena Williams win in the match? You bet on the total games won by one player.

Games Won - Set: How many games will Williams win in one set? 

Match Winner: Betting on the winner of the match.

Multi-Game Outcome: Will Matteo Berrettini win consecutive games (e.g., 3 and 4) against Andrey Rublev? Or will they split the games? Multi-game outcome odds includes three options: Player 1 wins both games, Player 2 wins both games, or the players split the games.

Point Winner: Betting on the winner of one point.

Quarter Winner: The 128-player brackets for ladies' and gentlemen's singles are separated into four quarters of 32 players apiece. The winner of each quarter advances to the semifinals. If you place a bet on a quarter winner, you’re picking a semifinalist.

Race - Points: Which player will reach 30 points first? Margin is irrelevant; it’s simply a race to a certain number of points, one that’s exhilarating with live betting.

Race  - Games: Which player will win three games first? Again, the margin is irrelevant; it’s simply a race to a certain number of games.

Set Betting: You bet on the game score at a specific point in the set. If, for example, a set is tied at 1-1, you could bet on “2-1” at -200 or “1-2” at +150.

Set Score: Before and during a match, you can bet on the final set score. From 6-0 and 0-6 to 7-6 and 6-7, you have the option of 14 different scores.

Set Score  - After (x) Games: Instead of, or in addition to, betting on the final set score, you can bet on the set score after a certain number of games. If, for example, the bet is “Set 2 score after 4 games,” you will have five options to choose from before the set starts: 4-0, 0-4, 3-1, 1-3, and 2-2. If tied at 1-1 after two sets, 4-0 and 0-4 will be eliminated from Wimbledon live betting options, leaving 3-1, 1-3, and 2-2.

Set Winner: Betting on the winner of the set.

Spread - Games (Match): Tennis wins are earned by recording more set wins, not more game wins. And in many cases, a player might win more games but lose the match (e.g., 6-1, 4-6, 4-6). What is the final game margin in all sets of the match?

Spread - Games (Set): If you’re more familiar with NFL or NBA betting than tennis betting, this bet is similar to a first-quarter spread (e.g., Lakers -1.5, Celtics +1.5). In this case, you’re betting on the winning margin (in games) in one set.

Stage of Elimination: At what point of the tournament will Ash Barty be eliminated? Before the tournament begins, you can bet on any of the seven possible stages of elimination – first round, second round, third round, fourth round, quarterfinals, semifinals, final – or tournament winner. And throughout the tournament, you can bet on the remaining rounds.

Tie-Break: Will a set reach a tie-breaker? You bet “Yes” or “No.”

Total Points - Game: How many points will be played in one game? At the beginning of a game, you can select one or more options from “4” through “8+.” As the game is played, options are removed from the live odds board.

Total Games - Match: How many games will be played in the entire match? A popular over/under bet, total match games, like total points in one game, features one number (e.g., 33.5) accompanied by odds for the over (e.g., -135) and odds for the under (e.g., -105).

Total Games - Set:  Total games within one set is most often offered as an over/under bet like match total games but also offered as a range (e.g., 6-8 or 9-11).

Total Games - Set (Even/Odd): Will the total games in one set be an even or odd number? 

Tournament Winner: The most popular wager for Wimbledon betting odds (and all of Grand Slam betting), the tournament winner is simply picking the winner of the entire tournament. 

Win 1 Set: Will one of the two players – or doubles’ partners - win at least one set in the match? You bet on either “Yes” or “No.”
