Welcome to a new week, and this week we are going to absolutely crush your bookie in hockey and bring home the bacon. There are some exciting games on the ice, and these are a few games and lines where I think you can find value today.

Bruins at Oilers Prediction

The marquee matchup of the night will take place in Canada, where the Boston Bruins will be traveling to take on the Edmonton Oilers. This game will feature a battle between two very good teams, with Boston looking incredible this season with a ridiculous 45-8-5 record. However, Edmonton isn't too shabby either. The Oilers feature not only a 32-20-8 record, but they also have the best player we've seen in hockey since Wayne Gretzky. Connor McDavid is a force, sporting 113 points, 48 goals and 65 assists ... and it's only Feb. 27. Plus, Edmonton has a positive goal and shot differential, scoring 3.83 goals per game while allowing 3.28. The Oilers are also outshooting their opponents on average, 33.7 to 31.7.

The Bruins have been the best team in hockey since the very first puck drop of the 2022 season. They are totally dominant on offense and defense, sporting top numbers on each side of the ice. Boston is scoring 3.72 goals per game while allowing a stunningly low 2.09, by far the lowest in the NHL. They are also outshooting opponents 33.2 to 29.4 on average.

MY PICK: Oilers ML (+120, DraftKings). There is just too much value here in getting a good team at home for plus-money. Linus Ullmark will have his work cut out for him against this offense and McDavid. Let's see who comes out on top.

Golden Knights at Avalanche Prediction

Our second game of the night will also feature two very good teams battling it out in the Western Conference. The Vegas Golden Knights will be traveling out to Colorado to take on the Avalanche. It's been another successful season for the Knights, who are 35-18-6 with a positive goal and shot differential. They are scoring 3.20 goals per game while allowing 2.76, and also outshooting their opponents on average, 32.8 to 30.3.

The Avalanche come into this game red-hot, winners of five straight games, and looking more like the team we saw last season that won Lord Stanley's Cup. Colorado is 33-19-5 and also features a positive goal and shot differential. The Avs are scoring 3.12 goals per game while allowing just 2.70, and they are also outshooting their opponents 33.3 to 32.2 on average each night.

MY PICK: Golden Knights ML (+123, BetRivers). Sure, Colorado is on a winning streak right now, but Vegas is one of the best teams in the West. VGK can win this game, and even with Colorado's winning streak, there is a reason the Avs are not bigger favorites at home.
