We have a huge NHL slate today to find value, and that is exactly what we are going to do. We had a nice day yesterday with the Flames ML and Oilers -1.5, securing a profit on the night yet again. The key to making money in the NHL is value, and there is plenty of it to be had every single night. It’s one of my favorite sports to bet, and if you have missed out on this season, there is still time to jump on this train.

NHL Picks & Predictions For Today's Games
Hurricanes at Predators Prediction
Let’s start the night off in Tennessee, where the Carolina Hurricanes will be traveling to take on the Nashville Predators. The Hurricanes have won three straight games headed into this matchup, and they will be looking to keep that streak alive. Carolina is scoring 3.21 goals per game and allowing 2.52, while also outshooting their opponents 35.0 to 25.9 on average.
The Predators are one of the most fraudulent teams in hockey, and they shouldn’t even be sniffing a playoff spot. I’ve talked about it all year when we preview Preds games, and I will continue to fade them, which has paid off towards the end of the season. Nashville is scoring 2.73 goals per game and allowing 2.86, while getting outshot by their opponents on average 33.2 to 29.7. A negative shot and goal differential with a winning record is a huge fade for me.
MY PICK: Hurricanes -1.5 (+145, BetRivers). Carolina is the far better team here, and I won’t be fooled by the Predators “playoff push” down the stretch. They will be eliminated, and the Hurricanes should help in that endeavor at a great value to win by 2+.
For our second game of the night, the Arizona Coyotes will be traveling to take on the Seattle Kraken. These two teams just played three days ago in the same venue. The Kraken destroyed Arizona, 8-1, and I feel like tonight could be much of the same. The Coyotes are one of the worst road teams in the NHL. Arizona is scoring 2.73 goals per game and allowing 3.56, while getting outshot by opponents 35.3 to 25.6 on average.
The Kraken are looking to lock themselves into the No. 1 wild-card spot, and this win would solidify that. Seattle is scoring 3.53 goals per game and allowing 3.10, while outshooting their opponents on average 30.4 to 27.0.
MY PICK: Kraken -1.5 (-132, BetRivers). It was an 8-1 deconstruction last time around, and in the same exact situation, Seattle should grab another win tonight. Arizona is dreadful on the road, while Seattle has thrived at home, and the Kraken are looking to secure that top wild-card spot. I hate laying juice, but this seems like a fair price here.
Senators at Panthers Prediction
Our last pick of the night features the Ottawa Senators traveling to take on the Florida Panthers. As you may know, I am a staunch Senators backer, and I think they are one of the most underrated teams this season. While they are almost officially eliminated from playoff contention, they aren’t finished quite yet. They know that this is a HUGE game against the Panthers, who are currently sitting in one of the wild-card spots. Ottawa is scoring 3.13 goals per game and allowing 3.24, but they are outshooting their opponents 33.1 to 31.4 on average.
The Panthers have been underwhelming this season after winning the President’s trophy last year, but they are still a good team. They are also fighting to keep their spot in the wild card, so every win is extremely important. Florida is scoring 3.49 goals per game and allowing 3.33, while outshooting their opponents 36.8 to 31.5 on average.
MY PICK: Senators ML (+205, Caesars). This is some really insane value tonight on the Senators, who almost beat the Hurricanes on the road the other night. They know they need to win in order to have a shot at a wild-card spot, so I expect a great effort here. Florida is a good team, but their goaltending is very questionable. This massive +200 price is just way too much here, and fantastic value.
