Burdge: There’s Still Value in Betting on the Bruins to Win the Stanley Cup

It’s no secret the Bruins are the best team in hockey. 

Entering the final couple of games of the regular season, they hold the record for most NHL regular season wins and are rolling into the playoffs with a 63-12-5 record. 

And while this is certainly a team that looks all but certain to win the Stanley Cup, their odds to do just that still have some value to them. 

At BetMGM, the Bruins are favored to win the Stanley Cup with +375 odds. And if you’re going to bet on these odds, as I have, I would do it now before these odds get shorter. 

And there’s not an enormous amount of value in betting on the Bruins moneylines now, but if you want to bet on this team, I’d say their Stanley Cup odds is the most valuable bet on them right now. 

Or you could, of course, bet on them on the puckline as I am doing tonight and mentioned Tuesday morning on the Daily Tip’s triumphant debut of Wheel of Bets. 

I don't see any other NHL team beating this Bruins team in their quest for a Stanley Cup. Simple as that.

If this story doesn't end with a Stanley Cup win, it will be a disappointment for the ages. I can't even imagine it, which is why I'm all in on their odds to win it while the value is there.
