The Vikings were one of those teams this preseason that had a lot of hype when it came to their potential in 2022. After Week 1, that hype has only grown after giving a 23-7 beatdown to the division rival Packers.
The Eagles survived a 38-35 thriller against the Lions, and with the Cowboys' latest injury issue, Philly has now become a heavy favorite to win the NFC East (-185 on FanDuel).
Minnesota Vikings
One of the biggest reasons for the excitement around this Vikings team came with their new offensive-minded head coach Kevin O'Connell, coupled with the potential for Offensive Player of the Year favorite Justin Jefferson (+600) to go off. Well, if Week 1 was any indicator, you can expect some serious offensive output from Minnesota all season long.
Jefferson had a pair of touchdowns on nine catches for 184 yards, so you can expect that to be by far the biggest focal point for the Eagles' defense this weekend.
Minnesota can balance their offense if need be, though, having gotten 90 yards rushing on 20 attempts from Dalvin Cook against the Packers.
They'll start by throwing on the Eagles as much as they can, and if that works, even this talented Philly secondary could be in for a long day.

Philadelphia Eagles
A lot will fall on cornerbacks Darius Slay and James Bradberry to keep Jefferson under control on Monday night. That's easier said than done, and in reality, we know this becomes a "hope to contain him" type of situation, meaning Philly's receiver duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith will have to put up bigger numbers than their combined 10 catches for 155 yards last week.
OK, that's actually a bit misleading, since those combined numbers came from only Brown, with Smith having been targeted four times last week with no catches. Big outputs from both this Monday will make a massive difference.
