Top NFL Player Props: Week 7

With several intriguing NFL matchups set to take place this week, I’ve identified a few favorable football betting player props on the BetMGM Sportsbook that you could consider ahead of the action.

Kyler Murray Under 245.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray could be in for a tough day against this Saints defense.

The Saints have limited four of their six opponents to under this total. They allow 222 passing yards per game on average.

Murray has only gone over this total in three of six games. And even if James Conner is out, it doesn’t automatically mean the Cardinals will pass enough for Murray to go over here. He was 23 of 37 for 222 yards in a 19-9 loss to the Seahawks last week as the Cardinals ran 28 times.

Zach Ertz Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz has been one of Kyler Murray’s favorite targets, and Ertz’s target volume may not change that much this week.

While the Cardinals do have star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins returning from suspension, fellow wideout Marquise Brown will be out. Arizona did just trade for Robbie Anderson this week, but that’s a quick turnaround for him to be a major factor in the offense.

Ertz has gone over this total in three of six games, including the last two weeks. He averages 49.8 yards per game.

While only one tight end has gone over this total against the Saints, 11 players have. The Saints are 21st in pass defense DVOA, per Football Outsiders. So Ertz should have a chance at a good game.

Alvin Kamara Under 64.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

It’s easy to think Saints running back Alvin Kamara will go over after he’s rushed for 202 yards in his last two games. But I don’t think it’ll be that simple.

First of all, Kamara went under this total in his first two appearances of the season with a combined 100 yards in those two games. And this Cardinals run defense has been challenging for teams.

The Cardinals have allowed 103.8 rushing yards per game, which is seventh-best in the NFL. Only two players have gone over this total against them. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the Saints spread the ball around, perhaps pass even more, and Kamara ends up going under this total.
