Top NFL Player Props: Week 6

With several intriguing NFL matchups set to take place this week, I’ve identified a few favorable football betting player props on BetMGM that you should consider ahead of the action.

Tyler Higbee Under 54.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Carolina Panthers at Los Angeles Rams, 4:05 p.m. ET

While Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has been playing well, this is a high total for him to reach.

The Panthers are 22nd in pass defense DVOA this season, per Football Outsiders. But they haven’t allowed a single tight end to reach 55 receiving yards all season.

Higbee hasn’t been going over this total every game anyway. He’s reached this total in three of five games and averages 58 yards per outing. And while his target volume has steadily picked up, he tallied just 46 yards on 10 targets a week ago.

Against a below-average Panthers pass defense, the Rams may try to get players other than Higbee more involved.

Najee Harris Under 44.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m. ET

Steelers running back Najee Harris’ production is trending downward, and there’s not much reason for optimism.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said this week that running back Jaylen Warren will be more involved in their offense. And last week, Warren was on the field for 38 snaps compared to Harris’ 37. At 49%, that was Harris’ lowest snap percentage of the season in a 38-3 loss to the Bills.

In that game last week, Harris ran for 20 yards on 11 carries for 1.8 yards per attempt. He’s averaging 3.2 yards per carry for the season.

And while that was against a strong Bills defense last week, this week doesn’t get any easier against Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are third in total defensive DVOA.

Will Dissly Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks, 4:05 p.m. ET

Seahawks tight end Will Dissly has emerged as a dependable target this season.

Dissly has gone over this total in four of five games. He’s averaged three targets per contest.

Now he gets to face the Cardinals, who are 27th in pass defense DVOA. They’ve also allowed six tight ends to go over this total in five games, including two games where two at the position tallied at least 19 receiving yards.

Dissly will have the opportunity to go over this total with a Seahawks passing offense that’s clicking and against a vulnerable defense.
