Staff Picks For NFL Week 18 Action

The BetQL Editorial Staff breaks down their top picks for Week 18 in the NFL!

The final week of the NFL season is here and the BetQL staff has our favorite Week 18 picks for you to start your weekend!

Dan Karpuc: Browns ML vs. Ravens (+1500, FanDuel)

The Browns (3-13) have been out of playoff contention for a while while the Ravens (11-5) need to win this game to win the AFC North. Not only that, but Cleveland is turning to Bailey Zappe, their fourth starting quarterback of the season, to take on their division rivals. Don’t forget that Cleveland won the first meeting between these two teams back on October 27 (29-24) and per Action Network’s Evan Abrams, Baltimore (-20) is the largest favorite since 2021 and the biggest favorite in a season finale since 1976. With all that being said and with all of the money backing Baltimore, how fitting would it be for the Browns to win outright and play spoilers, forcing the Ravens to play all of their postseason games on the road? Remember that while this matchup is lopsided on paper, these are still all grown men, hungry for their snaps and fighting for their jobs next season and beyond. Therefore, anything can happen on any given week. At +1500, I’m absolutely going to take a shot on this.

Lucy Burdge: Lions ML vs. Vikings (-155, BetMGM)

This is going to be an incredible game, the game of the regular season, and I think the Lions will come away with the win and with the NFC North and with the No. 1 seed. This game will feature the most combined wins for any regular-season game in NFL history AND the winner will be only the ninth team in NFL history to finish a regular season with 15 or more wins. There is a lot on the line and I see the Lions winning here.

Matt Horner: Jets +1.5 vs. Dolphins (-118, FanDuel)

Betting on the Jets has been a very painful experience for me this season, but one more time can’t hurt right? I know the Dolphins actually still have something to play for, and the Jets have long been eliminated from anything at all, but there is no chance I am trusting Tyler Huntley in a big spot. Aaron Rodgers had his worst game as a pro last week, and this could be his final NFL game. It will definitely be his last with Davante Adams in all likelihood. I think we see the closest version to prime Rodgers we’ll get this weekend, and he comes out slinging with nothing to lose. Maybe I’m hoping for too much, but I’ll go down with the Titanic here.
