Monday Night Football in Week 12 features an exciting showdown between the Ravens and Chargers, with plenty of intriguing anytime touchdown scorer options to consider. With an over/under of 50.5 points, the game is expected to deliver offensive fireworks, providing ample opportunities for players to find the end zone. While Derrick Henry is the clear favorite, his steep -350 odds may not offer much value. Instead, targeting value plays like Quentin Johnston, Rashod Bateman, and Will Dissly could be the key to maximizing your betting returns. Here’s a closer look at these top anytime touchdown picks for Monday night’s clash in Los Angeles.

Chargers WR Quentin Johnston Anytime TD (+190, BetMGM)

It wasn’t that long ago that we considered Johnston a bust, as everyone was bashing him and counting him out after an underwhelming rookie season. I really hate it when people judge rookies as harshly as they do, because the fact is this game they are playing is enormously different from the one they played in college. Some guys are special enough to where they immediately get it and can translate their great play right away into the NFL. For some, it takes time for them to realize their potential.

Now, I’m not saying Johnston is a superstar or is going to be, but he has improved dramatically from his rookie season. He has racked up six touchdowns, and has quietly had one in three straight games coming into this contest with Baltimore. Three of those six touchdowns were over 25 yards down the field, so he is starting to resemble the guy we saw at TCU that was a massive deep threat.

The Ravens have been torched through the air this season, ranking dead last against the pass and allowing the most passing yards per game in the NFL. Johnston will have a real chance to generate explosive plays down field against them. Baltimore is actually second in the league against the run, so QB Justin Herbert might have to pass when they get to the red zone.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman Anytime TD (+250, BetMGM)

The obvious play is Derrick Henry, but who is going to lay -350 for that to happen with the Chargers ranking 10th against the rush this season? I know they have played an easy schedule, so perhaps they are a bit overrated, but there is no shot I’m taking that. Instead, I’ll target someone with some value here in Bateman, who is the No. 2 receiver in Baltimore behind Zay Flowers.

Bateman has four touchdowns this season and plays on the outside on almost all of his routes. That actually matters because the Chargers have allowed a whopping five touchdowns over the last two weeks to receivers playing on the outside.

They have been extremely good at guarding the middle of the field, which is why I am not targeting one of the good tight ends that Baltimore employs. Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely will probably be very popular ATTD wagers, but Los Angeles hasn’t allowed a single TD this season to a tight end, the only team in the NFL that can say that.

Chargers TE Will Dissly Anytime TD (+200, BetMGM)

A You Better You Bet legend, tight end Will Dissly has taken his talents from Seattle to Los Angeles, and he has started to carve out a role for himself within the offense. He’s a safety valve for Herbert on a team that lacks a true superstar receiver, acknowledging up and comers in Johnston and Ladd McConkey.

Dissly went for 80 yards last week against Cincinnati on four catches, and has seen his usage creep up steadily as the season has progressed. He’ll get a great matchup here at home against Baltimore, who I have already talked about as having a terrible passing defense. Not only that, but they have allowed the most yards to tight ends per game in the NFL per PFF. Through 11 games, they are allowing an average of 66.9 yards to opposing TE's per game, so Dissly has a real chance to be a serious threat.

At 2/1 odds, his role increasing every week, and with the opponent he is facing, I think he is a great value play tonight.
