The Patriots opened the season with a 20-7 loss in Miami, and now Mac Jones is dealing with back spasms, with his status up in the air for Sunday.
The Steelers came away with a 23-20 win over the Bengals in overtime, but Najee Harris left with a foot injury, so Pittsburgh is dealing with their own injury issues to a key piece of their offense.
Oh, and let's not forget TJ Watt suffering a torn pectoral, which is a major blow to that Steelers defense.
The Patriots' offense had a lot of issues this past Sunday, and given all the talk about their lack of any true offensive coordinator, that's not really the way you want to open a season. Just 271 total yards and three turnovers don't put you in a position to win that's for sure, and if they look similar against the Steelers, New England is staring down an 0-2 start to the season.
The status of Jones also complicates things here more, and that should be a fluid situation.

The Steelers' defense frustrated Joe Burrow into four interceptions in Week 1, which really is what kept them in the game. Mitch Trubisky was just average at best, with just 194 yards passing and a touchdown, but no turnovers.
Whether or not Harris can go will be a major talking point leading up to the weekend, and even if he can, he may not be 100 percent.
Clearly though, this Steelers team will be counting on the defensive side of the ball to be their best unit, which could bring some problems to an already shaky Patriots offense.

It's hard to be overly confident in the Patriots after what we saw last week, and if Jones isn't healthy, it could be even worse for New England against this Steelers defense.
We could see a rare moment in Week 2, with an 0-2 Patriots team.
