J.K. Dobbins Removed From PUP List, Returns to Ravens Practice Field

A look at how the Ravens are projected to do this season amid the Dobbins news

The Baltimore Ravens got some outstanding news on Monday, as J.K. Dobbins returned to the practice field and is expected to be ready for the start of the season after being activated off of the PUP list. He missed all of last season, his second in the NFL, after tearing his ACL in Baltimore’s third preseason game against the Commanders last year.

Now that Dobbins is back on the field and back in business, the BetQL Model is projecting the running back will have 143.5 carries for 901.66 rushing yards (6.3 ypc) and 8.86 rushing TDS. In his one and only NFL season, Dobbins finished with 805 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Keep an eye out for his season-long player props as his status for Week 1 becomes more clear to see how these projections stack up.

The Ravens' consensus odds to win the Super Bowl this season are +2033, their odds to win the AFC are +1017 and they're favored to win the AFC North at +158. Meanwhile, the BetQL Model is projecting the Ravens' win total at 9.68, placing them under their win total of 10.5 games. The model also gives Baltimore a 45-percent chance of making the playoffs and a 20-percent chance of winning the division.

As for Lamar Jackson this season, his outlook should improve if Dobbins is ready to roll by Week 1. The BetQL Model is projecting Jackson will have 3,854.4 passing yards and 18.36 passing touchdowns. His totals at DraftKings are currently O/U 3,550 passing yards and 24.5 passing touchdowns, making the over on his passing yards a solid play and the under on the passing TDs a strong play too.
