Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season is here and BetQL is your one-stop source for best bets, live public and sharp betting data, written analysis, exclusive sportsbook offers and all of the game-by-game analytics and data you can dream of. Take a look at four NFL lines that have already moved, as seen on our Line Movement Dashboard.
After the Niners dominated the Rams 24-9 on Monday Night Football, this line moved in their favor. San Francisco is now 2-2 on the year and will square off against the Panthers, who check in at 1-3 after they lost at home to the Cardinals 26-16 in Week 4. It’ll be very difficult for Baker Mayfield and company to do much offensively against this 49ers defense; San Fran only allowed 257 total yards (3.5 yards per play) to the defending Super Bowl champions on Monday. It would be surprising if the Niners didn’t close as at least touchdown favorites in this matchup.
After Tua Tagovailoa was officially ruled out for this game, Dolphins QB Teddy Bridgewater will now have the chance to make a start for his fifth NFL team. Coming off a 27-15 loss to the Bengals on Thursday Night Football, it’s actually the Jets that have the momentum heading into this AFC East showdown. In Zach Wilson’s first start of the year, New York beat the Steelers 24-20 to improve to 2-2 on the year on Sunday and have a nice mix of young and veteran talent. Expect this line to close with the Jets around a field goal home dog.
The Titans have won two games in a row to improve to 2-2 behind a solid day from Derrick Henry (22 carries, 114 yards, TD). Meanwhile, the Commanders are heading in the opposite direction, having lost three consecutive contests to the Lions, Eagles and Cowboys. Tennessee is now favored, which is no surprise. Keep in mind that under Mike Vrabel, the Titans have gone 24-9 SU after playing a road game and 14-6 SU coming off an upset win as an underdog. I expect the Titans to close as at least a field goal favorite in this matchup.
After the Rams were embarrassed by the Niners and the Cowboys improved to 3-1 with a win over the Commanders, Dallas earned a few points on the spread for this Week 5 game. There are a number of important trends on their side, too. They’ve gone 7-0 ATS against conference opponents on the road over the last two years, 13-3 ATS against conference opponents regardless of setting in that same time span and 10-3 ATS against defenses that have allowed 235+ passing yards per contest.
