Over the last two seasons, the Cardinals have had strong starts, followed by the bottom completely falling out, including a 7-0 start last year before finishing 4-6. This season, however, they opened by picking up right where they left off last year, getting a complete whooping at the hands of the Chiefs, 44-21, in a game that wasn't even as close as the score shows. That has them inching closer to an 0-4 longshot bet that feels more possible by the day.
The Raiders also head into Week 2 looking to rebound from a season-opening loss, although 24-19 to the Chargers is far less alarming compared to Arizona's situation.
The Cards are now just 1-6 straight up in their last seven games after giving up 488 total yards to Kansas City. Meanwhile, they couldn't even make it to 300 yards of offense, and at one point were down 37-7. As Kyler Murray would say after the game very bluntly: "They kicked our ass."
Yeah, that sounds about right.
This Arizona defense is at risk of getting shredded again with the weapons the Raiders have on offense. Derek Carr isn't Patrick Mahomes, but c'mon here, Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow can make some huge plays if given just a little space.
If they fall behind early like last week, their offense doesn't give much hope for a big comeback, considering 14 of their 21 points came at the end of the game when the Chiefs pulled back and just wanted to leave with a win. They'll also have to be better than just 3-of-12 on third downs this time around.

Davante Adams made about as strong of an impression as you can for a debut. Carr targeted him 17 times against the Chargers, turning those into 10 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown.
Carr's three picks were a major issue, though, and forcing him into more mistakes will clearly be on the minds of the Cardinals.
If the Raiders can get out to an early lead, they'll be in control of the game and put the Cards in panic mode -- Las Vegas will just have to limit the turnovers.

Las Vegas is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games against Arizona, and there was just too much overwhelmingly negative play from Arizona in Week 1 to have much confidence in them here on the road.
