Betting Underdogs Of The Day
Let's take a look at some of today's top underdogs from across the sports betting landscape. Yesterday, I went 2-1 (+$400 on $100 bets) after Idaho (+150) beat CSUN and the Sabres (+150) beat the Knights. The Magic (+240) lost by one point against the Hawks and denied us a perfect night, but we’re back at it today! Below, you'll see today's best NBA, NCAAB and NHL options.
NBA: Wizards +235 at Suns (FanDuel)
With Bradley Beal back in the lineup and Monte Morris healthy once again, Washington’s starting lineup is at full strength, as Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma and Deni Avdija will be relied on to produce in the frontcourt. Losers of 10 consecutive games, the Wizards are one of the coldest teams in the entire NBA, but the Suns have been incredibly hit-or-miss and might be without Devin Booker for the second consecutive game. Phoenix is also on the second half of a back-to-back, which could also impact the workloads or status of veteran Chris Paul and center Deandre Ayton, who just came back from injury.
NCAAB: Air Force +130 at N. Colorado (Caesars)
BetQL is giving Air Force (8-4) a 52.95% chance to win this game and the Falcons have won six of their last seven games heading into this matchup. Northern Colorado (5-6) has a record below .500 and ranks 207th in KenPom’s rankings while Air Force ranks 166th. Not only that, but Northern Colorado ranks 330th in Adjusted Defensive Efficiency, so I’m going to bank on their deficiency on that end of the court and back Air Force to grab the road victory.
NHL: Lightning +115 at Maple Leafs (DraftKings)
The Lightning have won five consecutive games and won the only previous meeting between these two teams back on December 3. The Maple Leafs may have the home ice advantage here, but they’ve lost two in a row and suffered a troubling 5-2 loss to the Capitals in their last game. Under Jon Cooper, Tampa Bay has gone 228-119 SU (13.9% ROI) vs. division opponents and I think they have a great shot at improving their current win streak to six.
