Line Movement: No. 7 Ole Miss at LSU

This is one of the key games in Week 7 where we have seen some significant line movement from the opening number. Ole Miss has been one of the best teams in the country this season, with a dynamic offense and a defense that is allowing less than 20 points per game. They will put their undefeated record on the line as they travel to LSU.

The Tigers have seen a resurgence under new head coach Brian Kelly after having a few down years after the Joe Burrow era. Still, they are being faded hard here at home. We started out with LSU being favored by -2.5, but that line has since flipped the favorite, sitting at Ole Miss -1 now. The Rebels are clearly getting a lot of respect with that type of move, but people also just might be thinking of that blowout loss to Tennessee a few weeks ago. LSU is 4-3 ATS, while Ole Miss is just 3-4 ATS.

What this all means is books have seen a massive influx of cash coming in on the Rebels. You can clearly see this on our "Line Movement" page of our website, which will show you the difference between the opening line and current number. BetQL's lines change immediately when the sportsbooks change theirs, so you can always count on us to have the most updated number.

Sharp Money: Memphis at No. 25 Tulane

It's really hard to believe that Tulane is actually ranked, but you have to give credit where it is due, I guess. The Green Wave are 6-1 on the season, and I still don't think they are legitimate. The smart folks are loving the underdog in this game, and maybe there is some value to be had here at the current number with the Tigers.

At the time of this writing, 47% of tickets are backing Tulane to cover as the -7 favorite, but just 11% of the money is backing those tickets. Almost 89% of the total money is backing Memphis versus the spread, but just 53% of tickets. That's a 36% difference between the total money wagered and the total ticket percentage, a huge sharp bet. This is a big spread, but the big spenders are loving the Tigers to make the game close against the Green Wave.

This data is available for every game of the slate for BetQL subscribers, so they always know which bet the high-rollers are backing. Compare this with our best bets for this game below.

Public Bets: No. 21 Cincinnati at SMU

Cincinnati is coming off of a very close win over South Florida in their last match a few weeks ago. They are coming off a bye week, which could give them the upper hand in this one, and it might be why the public is all over them. Cincinnati is 2-3-1 ATS on the season so far, while SMU is a pitiful 1-5 ATS. No one wants a part of them right now.

Taking a look at our data, a huge 74% of the tickets are on Cincinnati-3.5, so pretty much everyone is betting on the Bearcats to whip up on the Mustangs and cover the spread.

Betting against the public can be a smart strategy, though, when it creates value on the opposite side. It doesn't always pan out, so you always have to be mindful of how you're factoring in this data, but BetQL will help you make these decisions with our model projections and analysis.
