5-Star Review: Eastern Michigan Beats Bowling Green

BetQL Loves It Some Small School Action

All the articles I've written so far on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ winners that the BetQL model has given out are games that have involved at least one smaller school, and here we have two. I don't know why, but the model really gets locked in on these teams that nobody has ever watched or heard of. Perhaps it is because these games are often not lined properly because they are games that don't involve the Alabama's or Notre Dame's of the world, but instead two teams that are just having fun playing football. Whatever the reason may be, I love it, because the model just keeps raking in the cash every single Saturday.

The model projected Eastern Michigan as -283 moneyline favorites, which is obviously very high priced and meaning they are very likely to win. The actual number at most sportsbooks was lined at -190, which was a massive 93 point difference in the two numbers, thus the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ bet given out by the model. The Eagles had zero problem dispatching the Falcons, and this game didn't involve Jalen Hurts or Matt Ryan. They won 55-24, dominating Bowling Green in pretty much every facet of the game.

It's also of note to say that according to BetQL data, EMU had a 62% pro money advantage in this game.

Eagles Beat Falcons, CFB Edition

Like I said, no Hurts or Ryan here, just some good old fashioned small school fun. QB Ben Bryant was phenomenal for Eastern Michigan, passing for 286 yards and two TDs on his way to a victory. He also had a rushing TD to cap off his great day.

The score was 24-10 at halftime, so I guess you could say that Bowling Green was kind of in the game at that point, but you could tell that it wouldn't be long until things started going in the Eagles favor.

The Falcons could get nothing going for much of the game, being held to just 17 points until very late in the fourth quarter. QB Matt McDonald passed for 233 yards, but threw a costly interception.

It was just a smackdown type of game from two small schools on a casual Saturday afternoon, and more money that flowed into my bank account. I'd call this a win-win for myself and EMU.
