From 1999-2005, the SEC won zero college football national championships. The conference has now won 12 national championships in the last 16 years, including three straight and five of the eight in the College Football Playoff era. If college football odds prove accurate in 2022, the SEC – i.e., Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee has a great shot at winning a fourth title.
